Thank you for visiting our profile page on MyDonate. Seven Stories is Britain’s National home for children’s literature. It is the only place in Britain dedicated to the art of children’s books and the joy of reading, and one of just a few places in the world. We design exhibitions, care for a world-class children’s literature archive and run a lively visitor centre. Our seven floors house galleries for exhibitions, performances and creative space, a specialist children’s bookshop and café and welcomes 70,000 visitors a year. Kirkby Stephen Primary School strives to be a happy community school. In recent years it has grown and developed, opening a very successful nursery and after-school club. We believe that all children in Kirkby Stephen should have the chance to attend their local community school. As such, the school is fundraising for £50,000 to build an additional classroom to accommodate its growing number.
