Youthlaw is a free community legal centre for young people under 25. Every year we assist over 2000 young people. They are the most vulnerable in the community, facing homelessness and family breakdown and associated mental health, substance abuse and legal problems. We work closely with other services to support and assist them. We also advocate for systemic change to ensure that all young people are treated fairly and justly. We operate our service across Victoria on a small budget using innovative low cost means such as Skype and utilising our enthusiastic and dynamic team of staff and volunteers. With your support, we can continue to: • Provide free, high-quality legal advice, information and representation • Develop and deliver innovative legal education and training • Run test cases • Advocate and campaign about issues such as no young people locked up in adult prisons, a smart diversion system, a better infringements system and fairer outcomes for young people

We are a community based, not for profit organisation in the Northern Sydney area that offers a range of support and accommodation services to young people aged between the ages of 12 and 24 years, and their families. Our aim is to prevent young people becoming homeless by developing healthy relationships, stable accommodation and establishing goals to secure education or career pathways. Our Early Intervention and Family Support preventative program offers support to young people and their families to prevent family breakdown by improving their relationships at home. Our accommodation programs are for young people who cannot remain at home and can be housed with a specialised carer in the community. Our youth housing program provides accommodation for young people who are committed to working with our Case Managers to develop the range of skills required to make the transition to living independently in the community.
