The Association of Air Ambulances (Charity) Ltd (AAAC) is a facilitator for all air ambulance charities that have contractual rights over a helicopter used for emergency medical missions. It is reactive yet responsive to large and regional donors who wish to donate to multiple air ambulance charities. If a local or regional organisation wishes to donate to all air ambulances, a selection air ambulances in a country in the UK such as England and Wales or a region; the local air ambulance to that organisation with the AAAC will aid them fulfilling their donation.

At Age Concern Central Lancashire we support people living in the Central Lancashire area. Our mission is to promoting the well-being of all local older people and helping to make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience is our aim. As a local charity we strive to do this through a wide range of responsive support and services including: Day Support Services for elderly mentally frail and respite for carers; Services which support and inform people to live independently in a manner which enables choice, respect, dignity and responds to the needs of the individual; Educational, recreational, intergenerational and social activities which promote physical and mental wellbeing Many of our services are funded from income raised through donations, legacies and fundraising and are vital in allowing us to support older people to live as independently as they choose and are able. Without your donations we could not help people to access the welfare benefits they are entitled to or to participate in a lunch club in their local community. Age Concern Central Lancashires Community Support and Information team have been applauded after it was revealed that their work has resulted in over £1 million of extra benefits being claimed by local older people. Matthew Tomlinson, Transitional Care Team Officer said, "The teams staff and volunteers are trained to give benefits advice which is specifically aimed at older people. We can give this advice either in the persons home or at our offices in Preston. It is thanks to the staffs hard work and expertise that we can show that, in the last year, we helped older people across Central Lancashire access over £1million pounds in extra benefit payments." The Community Support and Information teams advice is free, independent and confidential and is available to anyone aged 55 or over.
