We are an independent charity providing a range of support services for Young Carers (8-18) or up to 25 years old if having transition difficulties to independent living. This includes all children and young people whose lives are affected by caring.
Crossroads Care - South Thames aims to offer and provide a high quality, home based, individual respite service to carers and people with care needs within the London boroughs of Lambeth, Merton, Sutton and Wandsworth.
It administers UK supporter's gifts for the care of the children at The Lar Betel home in Brazil. The children would be at risk from exploitation and harm if they were not being cared for at Betel. UK support covers approx 40% of the annual costs.
We change lives every day through music! Gondwana Choirs is Australia’s national choral education and performance program for young people. Internationally renowned for our artistic excellence and innovation, we are Sydney Children’s Choir®, Gondwana National Choirs and Gondwana National Indigenous Children’s Choir. Our Indigenous Choir is run at no cost to the participants and we offer bursaries to ensure that no suitably talented child is excluded from our programs due to financial or geographical barriers.
Coastguard is New Zealand’s primary marine search and rescue service. Around the coast our professionally-trained volunteers stand ready to assist those in trouble on the water 24/7. Our people do everything they can to save the life of a New Zealander in distress on the water. On average we rescue over 18 desperate boaties every day.
