(AU, 26111342833) Browse eventsAssessments & Behaviour Interventions (ABi) is a leading not-for-profit organisation that provides family focused intervention programs that are effective and affordable for young children and their families with a disability; including Autism Spectrum Disorders, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Fragile X as well as learning difficulties and behaviour issues. ABi delivers programs, with a strong focus on quality and best practice that are tailored to suit individual family needs and priorities targeting real outcomes. We empower families with knowledge and strategies to support their child’s learning and development across all environments and to reach their full potential. ABi programs are founded on the evidence based principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). ABA is the process of using behavioural principles to create practical and socially significant change. ABA identifies the behaviours we would like to increase (skills) and those that we would like to reduce (behaviour that interferes with learning).
Vision: Feed the hungry, clothe the poor, provide job skills so that the unemployed can find dignity, self worth + become contributing members of society. Our initial connection with these people is through a soup kitchen + work groups where we provide basic work in exchange for food and clothing
