Our aim continues to offer a range of opportunities than can further the social and personal development of young people. We provide a safe and friendly venue that meets the changing needs and desires of young people with differing ages and abilities. We are based in Cramlington, Northumberland however young people travel from all over South East Northumberland, North Tyneside and Newcastle to access our services. We offer a wide range of challenging and fun activities to engage with young people aged 8yrs-19yrs and up to 25yrs with Additional needs groups. The activities are used as a tool to engage the individual the chance of taking responsibility of their personal development as well as explore their potential, with strong and positive support. CVYP provides a diverse selection of activities and outdoor challenges, like canoeing, kayaking, hill walking, rock climbing, mountain biking and football. CVYP also operates the Duke of Edinburgh Awards, John Muir Awards, The Prince's Trust programme, Employment Skills, support and advice, to name but a few. Weekly sessions include; 2 Junior and Intermediate sessions that focuses on early intervention, music, arts and crafts, sport and recreation. A sexual health and information outlet. Young carers group that engages with a range of needs, Additional needs drop-in for seniors, and juniors, Junior and senior additional needs holiday programme that all offer multiple activity and accredited programmes. Preparing young people for adulthood, independent living and employment.
Jigsaw(SouthEast) offers grief support to children and young people living in Surrey and surrounding areas who have experienced the death of a significant family member. In partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support we also offer support where a family member has a life limiting condition.
The Migraine Trust is the UK’s health charity for migraine. We provide information and support to help people manage the condition and improve quality of life, campaign for increased awareness and promote research. Recognised as one of the most disabling lifetime illnesses, migraine affects 1 in 7.
The Grants Braes School PTA is always looking for new fundraising initiatives that not only support our school but our community. The funds raised will go towards new and exciting resources and equipment for our tamariki.
