Elisha has a rare and aggressive form of cancer. She is 34 years old and a single mum to 10 year old Jack. She knows there is a chance to prolong her life with an expensive treatment plan if only she had the money to fund it. Her oncologist, her family and son are all desperate to try and save her ... can you help? In March 2012, at 33years of age, young Gold Coast mum Elisha Neave was told that she had an aggressive form of ovarian cancer – 8months later and after radical chemotherapy, a drastic hysterectomy, major surgery and a Christmas spent with a quite feeling of hope – Elisha was advised that the cancer was back and was in fact a rare form of Cancer. 2013 is the battle for Elisha and making sure her son Jack has his mum around in his future. Elisha is currently in hospital undertaking a (clinical trial) specialised treatment to treat this rare form of cancer. Unable to work - the stress of funding the specialised drugs and medical expenses, combined with her ongoing costs to support her son Jack - is overwhelming. To continue treatment and give Elisha the chance to beat her cancer she needs financial help. The new drug trial is working – and the long term goal for Elisha to visit a German clinic that offers life-saving treatments currently not available in Australia is a possibility – the only thing standing in the way is the funds to finance her treatment. HELP US RAISE FUNDS FOR ELISHA’S ONGOING TEATMENT AND EXPENSES “Elisha is the light of our family. We will not stop in our pursuit to ensure Jack has his mum and we keep our beautiful daughter, sister and mother in our lives. I thank you deeply for helping us fight” Veronica Neave (Sister)
