(UK, 1043326) Browse eventsThank you for taking the time to read about our ‘Let’s Build It’ project. Our aim is to build a room that can be used during the day for small group work, and then opened up for wider community use. Our target, to build in the summer of 2018, is £250-£300K. An additional space is needed to help raise standards for those children and young people most vulnerable in our community. This includes those with behavioural, emotional and health needs or other difficulties. The space would benefit the whole of Alton, as it would offer small rooms for 1:1 and group sessions together with a larger hall area to run clubs, training, talks and meetings. We would also like to include a kitchen area and fully accessible toilet facilities. The room would also support Alton families by providing before & after school care. We are ambitious for all children in our community; this is reflected in our vision, ‘Aim High, No Limits’. Our children enter with the potential and aspiration to be happy and successful, the support we give them will affect how they perceive themselves, others and the world around them. It is vital that we encourage, nurture and challenge them to improve their life chances. Please would you help us? Thank you.Anstey Junior - ‘Let’s Build It’ project.
