We have three nominated charities, Shepway Sports Trust, Opera Youth Foundation and Clic Sargent. The Atlantic Avengers raise funds through sporting and community based projects all focussing on fun, energy and commitment. Our current challenge is rowing 3800 miles along the Columbus Route across the Avengers. The two Superheroes Ricky Reina and John Wilson aim to do this solo in 3months. Our scientists have made significant breakthroughs in the diagnosis and treatment of male cancers, including discovering and developing the revolutionary prostate cancer drug abiraterone, which has been shown to extend life for patients with advanced prostate cancer.
