YTD Raised: £597.00The Atlantic Avengers Trust aims to provide deserving people with the means to tackle their own challenges, to give them support so they can believe in themselves and the faith that they can achieve amazing things. We have three nominated charities, Shepway Sports Trust, Opera Youth Foundation and Clic Sargent. The Atlantic Avengers raise funds through sporting and community based projects all focussing on fun, energy and commitment. Our current challenge is rowing 3800 miles along the Columbus Route across the Avengers. The two Superheroes Ricky Reina and John Wilson aim to do this solo in 3months. If you would like to support them and the Atlantic Avengers, checkout our website and look for us on Facebook and Twitter, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved. Our priorities are enabling those people to have: Somewhere safe to live Something meaningful to do Someone to walk alongside them during this very challenging journey We have access to all the main resettlement prisons in the West Midlands and are seeking financial support to expand the depth and range of our work. Volunteers and local community projects play a central part to this solution by providing practical support, hope, befriending and enabling "returning citizens" to start and sustain a fresh and fulfilling life.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in British men with almost 41,000 new cases diagnosed each year, while testicular cancer remains the most common cancer in men aged 15-44. Our scientists have made significant breakthroughs in the diagnosis and treatment of male cancers, including discovering and developing the revolutionary prostate cancer drug abiraterone, which has been shown to extend life for patients with advanced prostate cancer. But more research needs to be done. Your generous support will help us to make a real impact on cancer patients’ lives.
