With your support we can reach more parents and children and provide much needed help. Home-Start Wakefield & District believes that children need a happy and secure childhood and that parents play a key role in giving their children a good start in life and helping them achieve their full potential. Please help us to achieve this. Please donate to support our cause. Home-Start has been operating in the Wakefield District since 1991. We offer a unique service, recruiting and training volunteers who are usually parents themselves, to visit families at home who have at least on child under 5 years. Our volunteers offer informal, friendly and confidential support. Please help us to reach more families and give the support they need.
