Throughout the year we are busy keeping scouting on the move which overall generates and spends an average of £15-£20,000 per annum. This is raised from subscriptions, the Spring plant sales, Christmas post delivery and a number of other fund raisers by the group. In addition, we receive fabulous support from a whole range of organisations and individuals.

KIND provides financial support to any local family with a child or children having medical needs from either serious illness or injury. This assistance can be for anything from airfares for family members not covered by Government assistance. Families are supported throughout the entire journey of their child’s treatment and until medical needs are no longer required.

We supply speech and language therapy to all members on a monthly or fortnightly basis. We have a summer outing for the whole family. We have an Easter camp where the children and their siblings can go for 3 days without their parents and enjoy all kinds of activities such as football, basket ball, dance, circus workshops, painting and creating etc. We have a siblings only day out, once a year.
