ASAP wants different communities from.different backgrounds to meet. We believe this is particularly important for our young adults. Our aim is achieved by putting on community projects. Typically our project last for 3 or 4 months. Practices happen within communities and meets happen between participating communities. We like projects that are low risk, have a low learning curve and are non gender/age related. Ideal projects are activities like rounders, frisbee, pickelball and running. Let's get together. Let's make our communities great places to be!

Hinde Street Church, in the heart of Marylebone and central London, maintains a strong tradition of thoughtful Christian preaching, radical theology and a passion for social justice. Methodists have been meeting to worship on this site and serve the local community for more than 200 years. Our three different Sunday services draw people from nearby and across London - and every week visitors to London share worship with us, admiring the beautiful interior of our 1887 listed chapel. Besides our services, we open our doors for hire, for weddings and events, yes, but also providing reduced rates to 12-step groups and registered charities. Everyone is welcome to attend our public lecture series on spirituality in today’s society, the Tuesday lunchtime meditations, our group for young adults, and our informative, social tea-time talks on Thursdays. We support the social work of the West London Mission, with volunteers welcoming the homeless to our hall on Wednesday evenings for food and chats. During four months over winter we are part of the Westminster churches’ winter night shelter program, when volunteers welcome a group of 15 people experiencing homelessness, providing dinner and a warm place to sleep, while the West London Day Centre works to ensure they are registered for benefits, helped to find work, and supported in looking for local housing. In this and in many other ways we seek to serve the inner-city community around us. We welcome donations from people anywhere who wish to support the life and work of our church. Our regular running costs are £5,600 per week. We are also running campaigns to replace our boiler, and to repair our historic pipe organ (which is available to book, if you want to play!). Can you help?
