YTD Raised: £0.00We're a Boys Brigade Company based in Kilsyth, Scotland raising money for the village of Katete in Malawi. For years we've worked with Katete: working with Mary's Meals, we built a kitchen at the local school so each child could get one meal a day in their place of education; following the massive increase in attendance at the school, we worked with Classrooms for Malawi to renovate some of the school's classroom and visited in June 2014 to help with the work. Now we're continuing fundraising to keep helping the school and the village. We hope to be able to pay for the renovation of the church which also serves as 2 classrooms during the week, so the people of Katete have a place both to worship and to learn, before hopefully returning in the summer of 2016 in order to give out the many goods and clothes that have been donated to us for the most vulnerable pupils at the school.
