Ella Gracie's Garden has been established to support the emotional well being of children and their families who have to live and deal with the effects of childhood cancers and other life threatening illnesses. Ella Grace was a beautiful, happy fun loving little girl who's life was tragically cut short following very brief battle with a rare leukaemia. She was just 8 years old. Our lives were turned upside down during treatment which at times was harsh and unforgiving. Although our story was very brief and so sadly tragic, many families are still fighting and facing a long and uncertain future, in spite of improvements in treatments and better long term prognosis. It is our aim to provide the sense of 'well being' by providing gifts, toys and events that promote smiles, a distraction and most of all, happy memories, regardless of the outcome of this and other terrible diseases.
