(US, 273492063) Project Purple is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization with a mission of raising awareness and funds towards a cure for pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic cancer is the 4th largest killer of all cancer killers and the least funded of the top 10 cancers. It is also the only cancer in the top 10 killer with a single digit survival rate after 5 years. To combat these low odds, Project Purple provides research grants to medical centers focused on finding a cure, scholarships to students whose lives have been adversely affected by the disease, and patient financial aid.
