To provide support and guidance to families* who have lost a child of any age. This we will achieve by: - Extending the support network to those families beyond the hospital, healthcare community, families and friends. - Providing a support community, with other parents in similar situations, to reinforce the slogan "You Are Not Alone". This will be achieved through the web site, through meetings and other social events. - Providing financial assistance for those families who are having difficulty paying for standard funeral disbursements**. * Residing in, and requiring a funeral in, the UK. ** Standard funeral disbursements are: Church fees, minister fees, organist fees, cemetery fees, crematorium fees, doctors' fees. (It is usual for these fees to be waived or reduced for a child's funeral.) Standard funeral disbursements ARE NOT: Funeral Director professional fees, funeral printing, vehicles, flowers, press notices, memorials, catering and anything else, considered by the trustees, not to be essential to a basic funeral.

Motorcycle Outreach (MoR) is a registered charitable (non-profit) organisation which works to introduce effective healthcare delivery in remote areas of developing countries. We currently support the Health for All (HfA) project on the island of Flores in Indonesia. Effective healthcare in rural areas depends on transport. Those living in outlying villages have no means of accessing health centres, and healthcare workers have no other vehicles which can access those villages. This can result in local people using "witch doctors", local untrained medical practitioners who do not have the skills or knowledge necessary to give effective medical care. Vehicles used for this purpose need to be systematically maintained and managed. Motorcycle Outreach assists governmental and non-governmental organisations in this. Motorcycles are used because they are the only practical form of transport in an area where roads are no more than tracks, often in very bad condition; 4-wheel vehicles find it impossible to use these routes, and the distances involved make it impractical for healthcare workers to get to outlying villages on foot, or in time to deal with genuine emergencies (eg during childbirth). Therefore HfA extends the effectiveness of existing health resources already provided through the national healthcare system of Indonesia; local doctors, midwives, nurses and healthcare workers are trained to ride the motorcycles and HfA implements a program of Transport Resource Management (TRM) specifically to provide "zero breakdown" motorcycles for rural health deliveries. This includes vaccines for children, maternal and child health care, tuberculosis, malaria and STD-HIV/AIDS treatment.

The aim of Ellas Memory is to provide practical help to parents who have suffered the loss of a still born baby. Our charitable organisation was started in 2010 in memory of our daughter Ella. In May 2011 we completed the renovation of the Daisy Suite at Treliske Hospital in Truro, this is a special facility set aside from the busy ward where parents can come to terms with their loss in private and comfortable surroundings. Ellas Memory now maintain and look after the suite for the Hospital and we also supply the fantastic staff with memory equipment such as a camera, fleece blankets, small teddy bears, special inkless wipes and bedding so that the parents can compile special memories of their precious babies. Our new project for 2012 is to renovate a second side room on the ward which is currently used as a second suite for parents. The on going support is greatly appreciated by everyone at Ellas Memory and Treliske Hospital. Thank you

Professor Hawking continues to be our Patron, and he is on record as saying: “Whilst many children are kept in hospital initially, it is the families who care for sufferers at home that find their lives, home and life plans all having to be reassessed. it is at this time you need to be able to make contact with families in similar circumstances to gain support, and knowledge of how to handle situations.” Stephen Fry is the voice of Breathe ON UK "These children never register on the richter scale" website www.breatheon.org.uk
