The Water Survival Box is an invaluable resource for victims of natural and manmade disasters around the world. The box contains a water-purification kit and essential items for families who have lost their home and household belongings. The boxes are sent by air to ensure they arrive within days of a request for aid, with their standardised contents allowing for speedy transit through customs. WorldWaterWorks, the charity responsible for the Water Survival Box, works in partnership with Rotary Clubs, the Red Cross and other key aid agencies in countries worldwide. The standard Water Survival Box is designed for a family of four, with its main objective being to provide safe drinking water for 12 months through its filtration kit. It also includes essential survival items for cooking, eating, drinking, health and hygiene. Basic shelter, simple tools and key household items are also included.
