Heartstart Thatcham teach Emergency Life Support (ELS) skills following the Heartstart scheme. We do this in a FREE 2 1/2 hour lesson to the general public. In addition we also place Automated External Defibrillators into the community to improve survival rates from casualties in cardiac arrest.
Our aims are: "To relieve the needs of women who have had a mastectomy or lumpectomy by the provision of a knitted prosthesis" Knitted Knockers are hand made by volunteers using 100% cotton and provided FREE of CHARGE We know ladies love our knockers from the testimonials we receive.

Sheffield RAG are the University of Sheffield Students Union fundraising committee. Made up of a group of volunteer students, we put on fundraising events for the student population and local community. Our aim is to donate 85% of everything raised locally, making a big impact in our community.

The Farmers Overseas Action Group, FOAG, is an independent charity whose mission is to aid social and economic development in Uganda’s rural communities. FOAG provides support to 12 projects in four key sectors; health, education, economic empowerment and the environment, with the overall goal of alleviating poverty. FOAG concentrates on small scale constructive action for community development through the funding of innovative projects that are often too small for the objectives of larger international charities.
