We offer fun, friendship and Freedom on Wheels! We are a unique and small Cornish charity improving the lives of disabled people and their carers! The CDA provide a coach adapted for disability users and a caravan also specially adapted, sited in Cornwall, to provide holidays to disabled people and their important carers! We benefit many other charities and between 4000/5000 people! Cornwall, due to its rural nature, can create feelings of isolation for even the most active. We seek to take people away from their four walls and out into the community for a breathe of fresh air and companionship! At the current time we are actively fundraising for a new small coach to enable us to access rural areas and to provide a more comfortable and improved service. Our users cant just step in a car and go... They are very grateful for your support! Find us on facebook as freedomonwheels.

Small but beautifully formed the Friends of the Association of People with Disability (APD), Friends for short, keeps supporters in touch with APD. A supporter may have worked, visited or volunteered with APD in India, or spent time with them when they have visited the UK, or even just know someone who has understood and fallen for the amazing place that is APD. APD do brilliant things for people with disability in India. Heres a sample. APD are great at what they do. They know how to make money stretch to get things done but the fact remains that there is always more that needs doing and never enough money to do it. Friends of APD cant always be in India helping out directly but we can raise funds so they can keep doing what they do so brilliantly. As they say at APD together we can! What could you do?
