GI Trust - Get Involved! - supports Get Involved with African Street Children Organisation (GI ASCO), a Ugandan registered International NGO which offers residential care and support for 25 former street children, all boys aged 8 to 18, who would otherwise be living rough on the streets of Jinja in Eastern Uganda We raise money for GI ASCO and can also arrange for volunteers to help at the projects.

As well as specialist information & advice in : Benefits - eligibility & form filling Legislation - advice & representation in discrimination Community Care - Direct Payments & general access to service Employment - careers, training, re-training Grants - from trusts for items such as equipment, holidays etc & Generic disability advice we also provide social networking opportunities for many disabled & older people who may otherwise be socially isolated. Additionally, we run a shopping support service for those unable to shop for groceries independently delivered by volunteers & paid staff. In any year we support over 5,000 people."
The Parents Inclusion Network (PIN) is a group of parents and carers who all have sons and daughters with a disability - children of all ages and adults with all types of disabilities. PIN believes the solution is simple - just bring people together. We are a self-financing charity providing therapeutic riding and carriage driving for children and adults with severe physical and/or serious learning disabilities. Our Centre is based at Pettistree Hall Farm, Sutton, Woodbridge IP12 3BB and we take adults from resource units in East Suffolk and children who are directly referred to us by their doctors or physiotherapists. Assisted by Lottery Funding we are very lucky to have an indoor school enabling us to open 6 days a week for riding all year round and we operate 5 days a week from March to December for carriage driving for those who cannot ride or want a different challenge.
