(UK, 1153936) Level Trust supports children living in poverty in Luton. In Luton 14,000 children are living in poverty according to the governments latest figures. Poverty causes children to be without basic items such as comfortable school shoes, warm winter coats and even breakfast. In turn, this 'going without' can cause children to do less well at school because they do not have everything they need to do well. Level Trust seeks to remove the barrier's that poverty brings to a child's education by providing children with everything they need to thrive. Level Trust work through schools to identify the needs of children and to administer resources. Whether that is a new pair of shoes, a warm winter coat or a chance to go to a club they have always wanted to try, Level Trust do all they can to make sure that whatever a child's background, they have all they need to fufil their potential in life.

Cry In The Dark

YTD Raised: £17,173.90Cry in the Dark was established in 1998. In 2000 it built and opened a home for 24 children with special needs in Comanesti Romania. Casa Lumina is a home for life for these children who are now fast becoming young adults. At Casa Lumina the young people are treated with respect and receive the care and stimulation that each young person requires. Cry in the Darks second project in Romania is The Hospice Casa Albert project (Albert's House) and is providing community palliative care to a growing number of children and young people with incurable physical conditions with poor life expectancy, for example, childhood cancers or Leukaemia, congenital conditions such as muscular dystrophy, and HIV/AIDS and TB.

This is an entirely voluntary organisation and every penny donated will help to build and equip schools so that these children have the opportunity to fulfil their dreams. We were formed in May 2013 and are extremely active in the Solukhumbu. Following the devastating earthquake in April 2015, we are now also helping communities in Gorkha, close to the epicentre. If you would like to help us continue this work, please set up a fundraising page, or make a donation direct via this page. We visit Nepal twice a year to visit our projects and provide regular updates to our generous donors.
