HELP TRANSFORM LIVES BY SUPPORTING EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS AROUND THE WORLD We help provide education for young people living in disadvantaged areas around the world. Through our projects we hope to improve levels of educational participation and achievement amongst those who need it most.
Young Women’s Trust believes that a society which respects and listens to young women is a better society for all of us. We work with young women to address the poverty, inequality and discrimination that many of them face. Because what happens to them now impacts on their lives forever.

The Mayor’s Fund for London exists to give disadvantaged young Londoners the skills and opportunities to get a decent job, escape the threat of poverty and play a full part in London's future as the greatest city on Earth.Hungry children in 50 London schools start the day fit and ready to learn thanks to our breakfast clubs. Our literacy and numeracy projects are helping 5,000 young Londoners improve their reading and maths. Our Step Up project is helping primary school children successfully transition into secondary schools, while City Pitch is investing in young entrepreneurs who want to make a positive difference in their community. The next 12 months will see us find over 1,500 decent jobs and opportunities for young Londoners as part of our Young London Working and Tech City Stars programmes.
At SkyWay charity we work with young people who are ‘at risk’, aged between 8 and 25 years old and live in Hackney or the neighbouring local boroughs. We are here to help young people achieve their personal goals, realise their potential and contribute positively to their community, through a range of youth-led programmes, projects and services. We want to: Support young people so they can develop their communication and social skills, self-confidence and motivation, achieve their personal goals, and the ability to cope with life’s ‘ups and downs’. Help people to make positive health and lifestyle choices, including increasing participation in sport and positive recreational activities. Provide opportunities for young people to volunteer and develop transferable employability and citizenship skills, while raising awareness of training and employment opportunities. Champion the needs of other local young people by encouraging our peers to become leaders and take on areas of responsibility within the community.
Freddies Friends was set up in memory of Freddie Appleyard, Freddies Friends raise funds for specialist equipment, therapies, toys, short breaks and any help possible for local children in and around Hull with disabilities, life limiting illnesses and organisations associated with disabled children.
We help young people in Kenya to build better lives.We currently support 2 projects. 1) Mama Orphans Children's Home in Busia which is home to 200 children.2) The Balloon Kenya programme training and funding young entrepreneurs in the Rift Valley to create and grow businesses.
Community Heart (London) engage with over 300 young people each week to help them to realise their full potential. The charity’s current projects include, Edmonton Eagles Amateur Boxing Club, Running with the Vision – Youth Football and Youth Zone Youth Club.
We support some of the most disadvantaged young people facing significant barriers. These young people are often socially excluded, lack confidence and aspiration or have little support from elsewhere. We provide help to broaden their horizons, gain confidence and have a real sense of achievement.
Noa provides practical and emotional support to adolescent girls at risk in the Orthodox Jewish community.

A&M SCOTLAND supports children and young people from some of Scotland's most deprived areas to improve life chances. An award winning charity A&M specialise in the delivery of diversionary group work and physical activities for young people aged 7- 25 within Glasgow and West-Central Scotland. The young people we work with are often at risk of becoming involved in anti-social and/ or criminal behaviour, substance abuse/ misuse and gang membership or violence. Our activities divert young people from negative situations which may impact on their lives and opportunities in the future. We aim to improve participants’ physical health and well being by increasing participation in physical activity and sport, and by educating them about the benefits of healthy diet and lifestyle. Our services also encourage participants to develop personal and social skills, self-efficacy, self-esteem, and personal responsibility.
