We are a popular group with around 90+ young people from 6 years old and a leadership team / executive committee of around 20 people. We are raising money for a new scout HQ so that we can provide scouting for another 100 year for the young people in the local area. The group are regulars in annual events such as Black Cherry Fair, Chertsey Agricultural Show, The Ploughing Match, The Christmas Post and other events in the area. None of this would be possible without the help of our enthusiastic leaders and parents. The hut we are hoping to build will be purpose built in Staines Lane Chertsey. Not only will it provide a top quality HQ to do scouting in but an asset in and to the local community. Now about the challenge we would like you to sponsor us for. Two of us will be walking all the way from London to Brighton. The walk, yes we must be off our heads but ha ! its worth it if it helps us get a new HQ. 61 miles (100km) is no easy challenge and we are hoping to do it around 24-28 hours non stop. Please sponsor us and know that every mile we do is helping us get another part of the HQ built. Hopefully we can make a good start in getting the money we need to make Chertsey scouts HQ the best that we can provide. Thanks for reading and hopefully donating to this Steve and Paul
