YTD Raised: £2,550.00

Battle Back Appeal - Worshipful Company of Wheelwrights Charity Battle Back helps disabled service men and women to use sport and adaptive adventurous training to aid in their rehabilitation and return to an active life. BattleBack can encourage and start the development of injured service personal who want to compete in sport but it lacks the budget to pay for the specialised equipment, coaching, travel and other costs which are needed in order to participate. The Wheelwrights are working to fill this funding gap - we provide grants which enable injured service personnel to participate in adventurous training and compete in disabled sport. Some of those we help will compete with Team GB in the 2012 and 2014 Paralympics. Others have modest aspirations but all of our grants will help those who want to use sport to aid in their recovery. We have an ambitious fund raising goal for the coming months and welcome your support of this wonderful cause. The Wheelwrights support disabled causes and we have made a three-year commitment to help the courageous men and women who have given so much in the service of their country. Check it out: www.BattleBackAppeal.org www.army.mod.uk/events/sport/16263.aspx Together, we can make a significant difference for people who are truly inspirational - role models of courage and true heroes.
