BEST has a community fund raising target of approx £350-400k needed to secure all the facilities on the wish list. BEST will be promoting various local fundraising activities over the coming year. See our events page for more info Our objects are: 1) to promote for the benefit of the public at large in the london borough of Richmond Upon Thames and Wandsworth and the surrounding London boroughs ("the area") the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the conditions of life of the persons living in or visiting the area for whom the facilities are primarily intended. 2) to advance the physical education and development of pupils and students of schools, universities and other educational establishments in the area by assisting in the provision of facilities to enable them to play games or sports.
