Exeter City Football in the Community Charity works in collaborative partnerships to deliver physical activity, health and wellbeing and educational services and experiences for people of all ages and abilities throughout Devon. The charity operates in four main areas: education, social inclusion, health and sports participation and engages more than 50,000 children, young people and adults per year in programmes within these areas. The charity provides more than 4,500 holiday club places and 6,000 after-school club places and more than 3,300 sessions for people with learning difficulties as part of the Ability Counts programme. More than 1,000 players take part in street soccer and there is a full cohort of girls training at the Devon FA player development centre. Football in the Community also delivers external educational programmes, such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and a fully accredited Level 3 BTEC National Extended Diploma in Sport. The charity works in partnership with many external bodies, such as Devon County Council, Exeter College, Devon and Cornwall Constabulary, Lloyds TSB and Exeter City Council. Crudwell Village Hall and Recreation Ground provide meeting and play facilities for village activities. The hall is used by many village organisations for group meetings. Non village groups and individuals can hire the hall for functions. Playground facilities include a multi-sports facility, playing field and children's play area. Crudwell 'Le Mans' 24 Hour bike ride raises funds for Crudwell Village Hall and 60% of funds raised by each team goes to the charity of their choice.

The mission of Special Olympics West Midlands Ski Group is to provide year-round ski training and competition for our special needs athletes, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community. The Special Olympics West Midlands Ski Group (SOWMSG) is the largest, most active and most progressive ski group of its kind in the UK today. This is due of course to the hard work of the athletes but they can only be realised because of the dedication and hard work of the administrators, fundraisers, trainers and helpers who work not only at the training sessions but also each day behind the scenes.
The Anna Foundation runs after-schools for children living on farms in the Western Cape, South Africa. Our "3 R’s Programme: Reading, Running, Right-ing" involves education, sports and life skills. We aim to empower rural children with core values while building self-worth and self-responsibility.

"When we play rugby everyone smlles" Friends of Rwandan Rugby is a small, innovative charity which teaches the joys of rugby to boys and girls in some of the most impoverished regions of Rwanda. FoRR’s mission is to promote reconciliation through sport, using rugby to build trust, friendships and foster shared experiences on the rugby field. The charity currently employs 6 Rugby Development Officers (RDOs) coaching rugby across 85 rural schools. For all the gruesome statistics from Rwanda’s genocide – and there are many – perhaps the most sobering is that 96% of the child population at the time are thought to have witnessed the bloodshed first hand. Now those children are helping to build a new Rwanda and for some one thing has made that unenviable task just a little easier: Rugby Rugby as a contact sport helps build very strong relationships & friendships. Players need to be friends with their team mates so they take care of you on the pitch. FoRR focuses on teaching rugby to children and young adults in schools and communities across Rwanda from towns to rural areas. FoRR’s core day to day activities involve:

The Federation of Disability Sports Organisations was first formed in 1993 bringing together the major organisations across Yorkshire and Humber. Our main focus is to take the national objectives for sport and align these with the demand and desire for more opportunities and greater participation.
The Primary Club raises money for sport and recreational facilities for the blind and partially-sighted. It is an official charity of the Professional Cricketers' Association. Anyone who has been out first ball at any level of game, and all who love cricket, are welcome to join the club.
We want to improve the quality of life for disabled people by giving them access to sport and outdoor activities. Our residential camps aim to push boundaries and challenge expectations. The physical and psychological benefits following involvement with sports cannot be underestimated. Finding the freedom that comes with adaptive sport can increase confidence and self belief. Our goal is to make outdoor adventure affordable and accessible for anyone with a physical disability.

The Southgate Sports and Leisure Trust (SSLT) was formed in 1996 as a registered charity to acquire and develop a 6 acre site to provide a community sports centre in partnership with Middlesex University on their campus at Trent Park in North London. Today the facilities at Trent Park are home to hockey, running, football and fitness clubs and offer a wide range of coaching and training facilities to introduce and encourage young people to learn about and enjoy sport.
All donations go to the Rotary Club of Hitchin Tilehouse Charity Trust Fund and are passed directly and completely to the charity. Rotary is a volunteer organisation based on the principle of "Service Before Self."
