Cambridge University Women’s Boat Club (“CUWBC”) was founded in 1941 to compete against its Oxford counterpart in the women’s version of the annual University Boat Race.

We aim to raise funds and deliver an all inclusive play space beside Atlantis Community Leisure in Oban, so all children can play, learn, socialise and have fun. Right now there is NO playpark and the closest inclusive playpark is a 2 hour car trip away. Help us help 50,000 children a year play.

Our small rowing club is just one of a handful of Victorian wooden boathouse left in the UK. We are England's most northerly rowing club, situated on the banks of the River Tweed. Established in 1869 the boathouse has Grade 2 listed building status and constantly requires maintenance.
