YTD Raised: £0.00Yaknak Projects is a small Scottish charity that runs two childrens homes in Nepal. Kapan House and Banglamukhi House are situated on the outskirts of Kathmandu and are each home to eight boys, Ama (Nepali mum) and Didi (big sister). The boys were previously living on the streets of Kathmandu or were displaced by civil war and unable to return home to their villages. They now live in safe, family-style homes, are well cared for and attend local schools. Yaknak was set up by four friends in 2004 and needs just £16,000 a year to run both houses. That pays for food, clothing, healthcare, school fees, social activities and salaries for their live in carers and house manger, all locally recruited Nepalis. Every penny we raise goes directly on the project. Every penny you give will make a huge difference to the boys. Thank you!
