Always Remembered30th Anniversary – Bradford City FC Fire Disaster#BradfordFire30thThe 30th Anniversary of the Bradford City Football Club firedisaster occurs on May 11th 2015. 56 supporters died in the disaster, two of whom supported Lincoln City, Bradford City’s opponents in 1985. 258 other supporters suffered injuries, many sustaining serious burns. The Plastic Surgery and Burns Research Unit (PSBRU) at the University of Bradford was established in the aftermath of the fire, and has become a lasting memorial to all those who suffered there.
