Jamie was born on Christmas Day but sadly spent his last birthday being taken into intensive care. Established in March 2005, the Jamie Adamson Memorial Fund, (JAM Fund) tries to help children throughout the UK who are suffering from ANY serious illness. Although a very small charity, we do our best to also aid the families of children who like Jamie, have sadly passed away. Jamie's legacy has been to offer help to others like him and I am very proud to be his Dad. We offer a variety of treatments and exercise classes to help with symptom management and slow the progression and social events in a fully accessible and safe environment.  We strive to keep it all affordable for all our members, and never refuse treatment on the grounds of ability to pay. It costs just over £120,000 a year to open our doors every week day, and around 220 members and carers visit us every week.  We couldn't do this without our wonderful team of volunteers (we are proud to have received the Queens Award for Voluntary Service this year), and two dedicated members of staff.  Our members give what they can, and the rest we raise with support from people like you and community groups, donations from charitable trusts, and organising sponsored events.  We get NO funding from statutory bodies.
