Since this time, VICTA has developed into a national charity and now supports blind and partially sighted children and young people across the UK. Every year a large number of people raise money for us by running in the London Marathon. This has enabled us to: Provide full support and guidance to parents, Make grants for appropriate equipment, Make grants for special projects,  Support other charities who work in our field. VICTA also organise meetings, sporting and leisure activities throughout the year so parents and visually impaired children and young people have the opportunity to meet and exchange views. We aim to become a leading provider of intensive early educational intervention in Scotland, and begin to raise awareness of the importance of early identification and early support for children and their families.
