Someone with OI can experience hundreds of fractures in their lifetime. We work closely with the main NHS centres of excellence located in Sheffield, Birmingham, London, Manchester, Bristol and Glasgow who continue to make medical breakthroughs and advances in the various orthopaedic surgical procedures that OI patients require. Part of our work is to fundraise for specialised wheelchairs, to give people their right to improved mobility and more independence. We also work to raise awareness about issues of isolation and support vital research programmes into better treatments and diagnosis of this rare condition. At the end of the experience was a successful Corneal transplant and Biyi can see again.Ade and Biyi are now on a mission to help others in the 3rd world not loose sight needlessly as research suggest that approximately 56 per cent of people lose their sight unnecessarily.At the end of this experience Biyi wrote her first book "Further than I could see'' and PSF was launched. We pride ourselves on being big enough to cope but small enough to care.
