WCTC provides affordable counselling for individuals, couples and young people in Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire and beyond. WCS is particularly valuable as a voluntary addition for patients in need of long-term care beyond whatever the NHS can provide. We can see up to 50 people a week for short- or long-term counselling. As a BACP-accredited service we follow the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy's (BACP) Ethical Framework for Good Practice. WCS is a registered charity and aims to provide counselling irrespective of clients’ ability to pay the full fee. We rely on fundraising events to help raise awareness of our service and to fund it.

YTD Raised: £0.00Our charity has been providing specialist bereavement counselling for over 20 years. Most of our clients come to us following a traumatic loss. This can include violent death, suicide or unexpected death but can also be as the result of a long term illness. We also help clients who may have unresolved grief, this may mean that the client has been unable to grieve normally, despite the passing of time.Our counsellors are all volunteers and have received specific, in depth training in bereavement counselling. We see clients from Plymouth and West Devon and in order to start working with a client we require a GP referral in the first instance.
