The Oaks Counselling Service provides affordable, professional counselling for individuals and couples in the Poole and Bournemouth locality. People suffering from bereavement, fear, anger, depression, relationship difficulties etc. can be helped to live their lives with a greater level of freedom. We passionately want to see people overcome their difficulties, and come to a place of permanent, positive change. Our experience tells us that counselling can help improve their enjoyment of life and restore their sense of well-being. As a charity, we aim that no one in need be turned away for lack of money, and we fund raise in order to provide a bursary. We keep our costs to a minimum, but it still costs £25 to provide one counselling session. Many of the people we see can only afford to pay £5-£10; this is why the bursary, and the money people give to support it, is so important. We love to see how people's lives turn around as they have the opportunity to take an honest look at their lives in a supportive environment. So a huge thank you for considering supporting the work we do!
