We bring a highly skilled medical team to the patient, capable of providing life saving interventions at the roadside. The CARE Team looks after critically ill patients including those severely injured in car crashes, industrial incidents, shootings and stabbings, through to adult and child cardiac arrests and those others with serious medical problems, such as heart attacks, fits, and breathing problems. Working alongside the West Midlands Ambulance Service, the CARE Team aims to deliver hospital care at the scene of the incident. By bringing our additional skills, equipment, drugs and surgical procedures to the patient we aim to save lives and improve patients’ outcomes.

We recognise the support in resettlement and rehabilitation needed for ex-offenders who have ended up in prison due to crimes committed as a result of their addiction and who are leaving prison with a willingness to recover. We also recognise the importance of including their family members, where relevant, in their rehabilitation. Steps 2 Recovery is very aware that children of addicts are so often the addicts of the future, and left unsupported they may repeat these patterns.
