German Shepherd Rescue Scotland was established to re-home German Shepherd dogs throughout Scotland. We do not discriminate against dogs on the basis of age, medical or behavioural problems. Most rescue dogs come to us through no fault of their own. We are a non-profit making organisation, who relies solely on donations to cover the costs of rescuing dogs, these include kennelling, transportation and expensive veterinary fees. We have a number of dogs that need on-going treatment and medications for life-long conditions. Please help us care for them. We are grateful for all donations large and small, and every penny is used to help German Shepherds in need.

Established for over 30 years, Peoples Trust for Endangered Species operates worldwide to protect endangered species through effective conservation strategies informed by scientific assessment. The loss of biodiversity worldwide has a direct impact on all of us: it affects world food supplies and water availability; it limits the search for new medicines; it increases our vulnerability to natural distasters and heightens the effects of global warming. Our work has never been more urgent. In the last hundred years tigers have declined by 95%, hawksbill sea turtles by 80%. Closer to home, water voles have plummeted by 90% since the 1980s and dormice are now extinct across half their original range. We are helping tigers in Sumatra, hawkbill sea turtles around South America, water voles and dormice in the UK and many other species besides. We fulfill our mission by: - funding and commissioning conservation projects that assess the problem and put effective solutions into place - leading practical conservation in the field on priority species and habitats - managing our nature reserves to protect their endangered species - tracking our progress through careful monitoring of wildlife populations - educating, inspiring and involving people in conserving endangered species. Please help us achieve our ambitious plans. Thank you.

At The Animal Healing Trust we provide sanctuary for abused and abandoned horses and ponies and allow them a place to heal from whatever they have been through be it on any level, physical, emotional, mental or spiritual. We use natural remedies and therapies as much as possible and work with natural horsemanship techniques too. Plus we allow and encourage the horses to live as natural as possible within a mixed herd environment so they have the company of other horses to aid their recovery and build their confidence and self esteem. Kindness, respect and working together in partnership with the horses are our key ethics as well as providing a safe haven and giving a lot of love. We have been providing this sanctuary since 2008 and are delighted to have helped many horses and ponies who others had given up on. And we thank everyone who has helped us. Let's continue to spread kindness and love to these amazing animals who are often misunderstood.

This year the British Friends have provided for five new full partnerships at the Centre so far. This means that five people for whom the door of debilitating darkness of blindness had been closed, have now had that door opened with the help of one of our heroes. Yes, our special partners do make a difference - and so can you this Pesach with a donation to our ongoing work at the Centre. We hope that you will be inspired by our work to visit the Centre or perhaps arrange an event to help us raise the much needed funding we have to raise each year to bring these special partnerships together.
