Australian Wildlife Trust is a UK based non-profit organisation established in 2008 to raise awareness and supporters. Our aim is to ensure effective conservation measures continue across Australia protecting its unique wildlife and their habitats. Working in collaboration with organisations, like Australian Wildlife Conservancy, who implement innovative conservation practises and are preventing further extinctions. Australia is one of the most important nations on Earth for biodiversity - 87% of our mammal species, 93% of reptiles, 94% of frogs and 45% of our bird species are found only in Australia. This unique display of nature sprawled across an ancient land make it a majestic backyard well worth protecting. However, Australia has the worst wildlife extinction record in the world. More than 1,700 species of animals and plants are listed by the Australian Government as being at risk of extinction. Nearly 1 in 4 of our mammal species and around 1 in 7 of our bird species are listed as threatened and that number will increase dramatically unless significant change to conservation methods occur now. We need your help: please donate, run the race, ride like the wind or climb that mountain! Your support of Australian Wildlife Trust will help save Australia's threatened species. We are registered charity no: 1126703 and all donations to AWT are tax deductible in the United Kingdom.

We invest in communities throughout our work and rely solely on donations as we receive no direct Government funding. We are part of the Wildlife Trusts partnership which is the UKs leading conservation charity dedicated to all wildlife. The network of 47 local Wildlife Trusts and our junior branch, Wildlife Watch, work together with local communities to protect wildlife in all habitats across the UK, in towns, countryside, wetlands and seas. The Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside was formed in 1962 by a group of naturalists who wanted to help protect the wildlife of the old county Lancashire. It is now the leading local environmental charity in this region. Our Mission To work for a region richer in wildlife by the protection and enhancement of species and habitats, both common and rare. To work towards public recognition that a healthy environment rich in wildlife and managed on sustainable principles, is essential for continued human existence. Our Vision To be the key voice for nature conservation within our region and to use our knowledge and expertise to help the people and organisations of Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside to enjoy, understand and take action to conserve their wildlife and its habitats.
The Trust promotes The National Forest and is creating environmental, educational and recreational facilities at its heart for people to enjoy. The Friends of The National Forest support woodland creation, woodland management, environmental education and access projects in The National Forest.
TreeSisters is a global woman’s campaign to help reforest the tropics within 10 years. We are an eco-crowd-funding campaign powered by the generosity, creativity, originality and shared responsibility of women who want to offer their gifts and abilitues towards the cause. We are actively serving the creation of a sustainable world for our children and providing a network of mutual support for all women wishing to face up to climate change. TreeSisters is where feminine empowerment and ecological restoration come together as one unified mission. Our plan is to help make it normal for everyone to give money for trees every month, to help reforest the tropics - and, it is so much more. This is as much about the empowerment of women as it is about reforestation. TreeSisters is an invitation to pitch your energies towards the creation of a world that values both women and nature as a new norm. Our two primary areas of work are: 1. to engage and empower diverse women to join, spread and amplify the movement with their own creativity, experience and courage 2. to co-create a meta-reforestation strategy with existing tree organisations to lay out a plan for how to help reforest the tropics within 10 years We are right at the beginning. Our campaign updates, will tell you where we are with it all! There are so many ways to get involved right now Please join us in spreading the word and bringing this initiative to life. Thank you.
