Ash Lea School is a day, community Special School for students between the ages of three and nineteen who experience complex learning difficulties.Ash Lea School is a community where everyone is valued, celebrated and works to their full potential. TO ADVANCE AND ENHANCE THE EDUCATION OF PUPILS IN THE SCHOOL BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES AT THE SCHOOL
Patchwork Kids support marginalised children's education in remote areas of India, Uganda and Macedonia. We fund equipment, staffing and rebuild classrooms to improve resources of schools and support local efforts to improve their community, for example helping to provide mosquito nets and blankets.
A 4-19 day and residential school for students of all abilities with physical and associated disabilities who have a wide range of ability and a main presenting physical disability. This can be combined with one or more needs of a sensory, communication, learning, medical or emotional nature.
The Friends of Brisley Primary School are a band of parents and teachers whos aim is to raise funds to pay for all the extra things the schools own budget wont stretch to but can have a huge impact on the pupils enjoyment of their school life. As well as buying a wide variety of play and educational equipment The Friends have regularly funded the transport costs for school trips, allowing the children to enjoy regular educational days out. We also recently gave every pupil a commemerative mug as part of their day of activities and celebration for the recent wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William. Fund raising activities and events organised by the Friends include the Brisley village fete, quiz nights, sponsored events and ladies pamper evenings. We also frequently support other local and international charities including Brisleys twin school in Sri Lanka, the RNIB, Help for Heroes, Jeans for Genes, the Nancy Oldfield Trust and Melissa Ilboudo in her work to combat hunger and poverty in Burkina Faso, West Africa. Buttercups in Middleton, near Kings Lynn, Norfolk, offers child care for 2 to 5 year olds from 09:00 to 12:00 Monday to Friday. We need to raise £203,000 for an eco-classroom to let us provide all day child care to meet parent’s needs and ensure our survival and that of the primary school.
African Support & Assistance Project is a charity, based at Mid-Cheshire College, dedicated to the support of education and communities in Africa. Our initial project is to provide a building for Befole Primary School in Lesotho (Southern Africa) to replace the one destroyed by a hurricane. It has 255 pupils aged from 6 to 17 years sharing dilapidated buildings and very limited resources.
