Our vision is based on the belief that music is one of the great resources available in Northern Ireland, a catalytic agent changing lives for the better. Oh Yeah provides affordable rehearsal space for upcoming local acts and a venue that is amenable to under 18s and all ages events. We house a permanent Northern Ireland Music Exhibition, cafe space, song-writing room, and various small office units for music start-ups. The Centre delivers several projects throughout the year, including 'Volume Control', an events mentoring scheme for under 18s; youth and older people outreach programmes; a talent development programme called 'Scratch My Progress'; and the 'Urban Affinity Festival' aimed at encouraging young people from areas of social need to get involved in music and learn about backstage career opportunities. Oh Yeah is also committed to organising and facilitating industry workshops and events for aspiring musicians and bands.
