The College Foundation and Development Office raises funds for bursaries and facilities and has a development plan entitled A vision for the future. Thanks to generous donations, the first project in this plan, the Birley Centre, was officially opened on 4 October 2011. The Centre is a first-class facility and dynamic hub for the creative arts for pupils and the local community. We would like to thank our supporters as our campaign continues to raise funds for: · bursaries - so that pupils from all backgrounds can enjoy the benefits and opportunities of a College education · a redeveloped dining hall and social centre · a sports centre · a new academic teaching block

Therapeutic benefit is derived through nurturing artistic potential in shared experiences which develop advocacy and social skills. The work delivers strong and specific social outcomes and our evaluations demonstrate that users benefit from community arts to live more healthy and independent lives.

Local Residents ‘Skydive’ for Village Hall Reconstruction 30 March 2012 Very many congratulations to Hall Trustees Lilian Breare and Mary Turner and to Sevenoaks District Councillor Michael Horwood for their heroics in the skydive at Headcorn on Friday 30 March 2012. All three have a fear of heights and this extreme measure was designed to raise attention to residents of the need for fundraising and support for our Village Hall. £4,000 was raised.
