Children First International (CFI) is a small independent organisation that supports groups and individuals in developing countries by providing funds and other material items that help them help themselves. The charitys motto is Opening new horizons and it promotes the ethos that: if everyone cared enough and everyone shared enough, everyone would have enough. CFI believes that small is beautiful and one of the co-founders visits projects personally, at his own expense, to both support the project(s) and meet the people who are being encouraged to help themselves. There are no employees and no deductions for administration charges; thus funds raised go to the person or group being supported. Projects being financially supported include initiatives in Zimbabwe, Sierra Leone and the UK (Reading). CFI liaises with Rotary International and Lions Clubs International organisations to ensure that funds are managed and monitored appropriately when CFI personnel are not available on site.

It's FATE's 3rd Birthday! Help us to celebrate!   Fund for Action Through Education (FATE) helps underprivileged children in developing countries by providing them access to a good education. By supporting FATE, you can change a child’s life, giving them the opportunity to realise their dreams and break the cycle of poverty. We have a fantastic group of sponsors who each sponsor a particular child, or group of children. In return, they receive regular school reports and letters from the children...and our neverending gratitude! In addition to this, we raise money for other essential school items, such as school uniforms and text books, which is where this site comes in - please support us! £5 will buy a school child a shiny new pair of school shoes. £6 will buy a vital mosquito net to help protect a child from malaria. £10 will buy a set of text books, allowing a child to study at their own pace. £15 will buy a rechargeable light so that homework can continue when it gets dark. £20 will buy a school bag stuffed with essential school stationery. £35 will buy a smart school uniform. £50 will pay a childs school bus fare for a year. Whatever you can afford, you can be assured that we will put it to the best use possible, enabling a child to excel at school and improve their life! 100% of the money we raise goes directly to the children that we support with any administration costs (which we keep to an absolute minimum) being paid for with the gift aid that we claim.

AVSF supports orphans/ vulnerable children inSwaziland We've built a primary school, pre-school , Home of Hope, commenced 2 feeding & sustainable agricultural/livestock programs &clean water supplies. We have 250 children in school & 17 in pre-school. 100 children are fed daily. We're now using sport as part of an holistic, integrated approach to HIV awareness/ behaviour change. We need funds to build football changing facilities - we have land donated, &, football boots / kit from UK clubs. This grass roots project directly touches & changes the lives of our children. 1:4 are HIV positive but our children have ALL tested negative. This project can ensure they remain well & enable them to identify & shun risky behaviour, gain life skills & increase future employment chances giving a new outlook, encouragement & focus on life. Football has changed the direction of many youngsters giving them the foundations & tools to go into the world & contribute to their community & beyond.
