Green Candle Dance Company believes that everyone has a right to watch and participate in dance. From its East London base, it makes shows and delivers workshop projects to children and young people and to those aged 60+, locally, London-wide and nationally.
Kingston Philharmonia was formed in in 1973, and is now an established part of the Kingston-on-Thames amateur music scene. We are going to be playing all the Beethoven Symphonies on July 19th in Kingston-on-Thames Parish Church to raise money for the Young Kingston Charity, and for Kingston Philharmonia to help fund future programmes and soloists.
We are a full-size symphony orchestra based in West Hampstead, north west London. Now in our 98th season, we're one of London's oldest amateur orchestras. We aim for high standards of musicianship and at the same time have fun and enjoy making music. Wimbledon Symphony Orchestra (Music Director: Robin Browning) was founded in 1963.The orchestra has an excellent reputation and a wide repertoire, attracting leading professional soloists and giving opportunities to talented young performers at the start of their careers.
The Cotswold Listener is a weekly talking newspaper for the registered visually impaired in Cheltenham and the North Cotswolds. Its now going digital, to offer CDs and other formats. Recordings contain 45 minutes of local news from the local paper, and a magazine supplement. Everything is done by volunteers.
