Megan's Flutterby Fund is a small local non profit Northamptonshire charity that helps profoundly disabled and life limited illness children and their families in purchasing or helping towards specialised equipment that the N.H.S. Does Not Fund. We also help with sensory toys, musical instruments, special clothing, bean bags and much more to enrich the children's lives. It was set up in memory of Megan Bell who had a rare life limited condition.

Since our first appeal we have raised over £30 million and helped more than 1.9 million of the West of Scotland’s most deprived children. Farnham Charity Bike Ride is a fun event aimed at cyclists of all ages and abilities, and offers a choice of circular routes through beautiful, local countryside. Now in its sixth year the event has attracted almost 2,900 participants and generated over £85,000 for local and national charities. Feedback from previous events has been overwhelmingly positive. Our aims are as follows:- We organise various events for all age groups including; Tobogganing and Sno- tubing nights, Horse Riding, Picnics/ BBQs, Adventure Days, Bowling, Craft Days,Christmas parties, trips to the Theatre and to the annual Pantomime to name but a few. We are Self-funded group and are due to celebrate our Golden Anniversary in 2014.

At the Safe, we make safety fun so that children don't learn safety by accident. We have created a safety funfair to make learning an experience to remember. Through simulation we run you over with trains, squash you with cars, electrocute you and set fire to your rooms. We want to let people experience dangerous sitaitons so they can learn to make safe decisions and mitigate the risks they are exposed to every day, often without knowing it. The aim of Kyra, Women's Project is to provide a safe women only inclusive environment where all women can receive support and advice to make decisions about their lives. This we believe will benefit not only the women but also their families and local community. We are an independent charity relying on fundraising and grant applications to deliver this service. We deliver courses on self-esteem and stress management as well as courses focusing on obtaining employment and money management. We also provide a range of creative activities, art, music, vegetable growing, cooking and craftwork to provide an environment where women are able to support each other and in turn work as Volunteers with Kyra Women’s- Project.
