LD:NorthEast are a North Tyneside based charity, supporting people of all ages who have a learning disability, many of whom have other physical disabilities, mental health needs or other challenging conditions. Our primary aim is to help the people we support to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives, making sure they have access to opportunities many of us take for granted. We support people to make friends, take part in activities that support their health, wellbeing and safety and to live as individuals, being in control of everything they do. Every penny of funds raised is spent directly on supporting people with learning disabilities who choose to receive support from us. For example, 100% of your contributions will support us to provide resources such as art materials, musical instruments, transport for much needed days out (supporting users and carers), social events in the community and much more. Many of the people we work with have very little money to spare, so any additional support we can offer through fundraising is gratefully received. In the coming months, we will be posting details on our website as well as telling you directly about how funds you help us to raise are being used and how your support is directly supporting some of the most marginalised people in our society. Thank you for your support.

Ubunye is a 100% volunteer organisation and has been started to give those people that are passionate about South Africa an opportunity to contribute to South African public benefit initiatives. We are currently working on two initiatives: Mozumuhle Primary School is based in Diepsloot, South Africa. We are fundraising for their need of many basic requirements and the only way we can break the poverty cycle is to ensure that people are able to get a decent basic education. It is near impossible to do this if you are cold, hungry and do not have functioning classrooms. We recognize that people want to help but are not always willing or able to take the next step and through our unique network we hope to make it easier for people to do exactly that. Ubunye means “the Power of Unity”. We at Ubunye believe that any challenge can be overcome if we stand together, using our diversified background and expertise to make a difference. Rooting-for-Rhino is an educational and fund raising project focussed on the global escalating rhino poaching crisis. Between 2008 and 2013 we have lost more than 2600 rhino - that's a 930 percent increase! Founded in South Africa, we now operate in the UK with our partner, Ubunye-Unity Trust. Together we aim to enhance children's knowledge of the rhino and bring a creative element to learning about conservation of these magnificent creatures and their natural habitat. People often ask, “What can I do to help?” We believe that we have an answer to this question as Rooting-for-Rhino provides a platform for everyone to get involved. We invite individuals to engage schools and groups around the world to show their support by standing in unity against poaching in the shape of a “Human Rhino Formation” and to raise funds. In the past year, we have reached about 16,500 children in 46 schools in South Africa, Holland, USA, Malaysia and Canada. Together these wonderful schools have raised in excess of ZAR 105,000.00 for our carefully chosen beneficiaries Chipembere Rhino Foundation, Wilderness Forever Wild’s Rhino Initiative, Bongi’s Quest by African Educational Stories. Please see our Facebook page for all of our information, photographs of our Human Rhino Formations and what we have been up to. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Rooting-for-Rhino-School-Route-Challenge/255953621187748?fref=ts HELP US HELP THEM Thanks for your support!

We support children and families to fulfil their wishes towards the end of the child's life to provide lasting memories and memorials Every year a number of children die in Ayrshire and Arran leaving their families devastated. We aim to help these families make special memories with their children towards the end of their life and following their death.Having a child with a long term illness places considerable stress and financial strain on families which can make it very difficult for them to provide the opportunities for memory making.Your support will help us fund, for example, memory making activities, headstones for the child, benches, special memory boxes or memorial jewellery. The help we give will be individual to each family and will be tailored to fulfil their wishes.Thank you for supporting us. Who are we? We are a Bristol-based theatre company and since 1984 weve gained a fantastic reputation for creating inspiring shows for young audiences. We rely on help from individuals to support the work that we do through buying tickets to see our shows, donations and by volunteering on our projects. Their support is absolutely invaluable to us.So why should you support us?Our touring shows are the visible part of our work - what isnt in the public eye is the massive amount of participation work going on. Its this work which needs financial support. Our projects with young people who are disengaged from society, the youth theatre groups that we run and community engagement projects, all need support. For some young people, getting involved in our youth theatre has had a profound effect on their ability to manage their feelings and in particular, anger. We provide affordable experiences so that no child is excluded because of financial hardship. As one young person said recently - It’s cheaper so more people can join.If you can support us, please make a donation, no matter how small.Thank you.
