The Crescendo trust of Aotearoa provides a development programme that nurtures, empowers and gives lifelong transferable skills to young people who may otherwise fall through the gaps of traditional education. Via mentoring personal development & training in music, film, photography, media and communication, the programme enables young people to rise above the circles of poverty and abuse. The trust provides them with a place of belonging & allows them to engage in creative meaningful futures.

Whangarei Youth Space Trust (WYS) provides a drop-in centre for all young people aged 12-24 in Whangarei. A fun, social, safe space for youth to hang out, do homework, take part in programmes and activities, and make friends. Through this social and recreational space, we are building relationships with young people, whilst making health, education, training and employment services available to them. All these services are free to young people.
