We are currently raising funds to replace our dilapidated and outdated Group headquarters - Tindall Lodge, Herd Lane. Planning permission has been granted for a building to be constructed on the existing site. The new building will allow local young people to continue their scouting experience and personal development and will also be available for the local community to use. Our Community Connection Volunteer Befrienders make a huge impact on older people by visiting them in their home for company and conversation. This Christmas Lunch will be for our Volunteers and their friend to come along to and have a lovely Christmas meal, company and fun. It will make a huge difference particularly to those who will be spending Christmas day on their own. We will also have a school choir to sing Christmas songs and hopefully a small gift.
