It provides a warm and welcoming environment for the children, enabling them to to enjoy and appreciate both Welsh and English cultures. Dyslexia North East seeks to promote knowledge, skills and understanding of dyslexia. To inspire and support dyslexics and enable them to achieve their full potential. Our vision is to create a society that celebrates difference. We aim to improve our outreach to individuals and families with dyslexia whether they are adults or children. Also to raise awareness in the community and encourage Dyslexia Friendly Schools, Colleges and Workplaces. We provide educational meetings, workshops and conferences, to increase knowledge and skills. We provide resources and a lending library. We offer advice, information and guidance, as well as tuition and training courses. Membership is open to all, but anyone can contact for help.

Strictly Wheels Foundation was founded by “Strictly Wheels” – Dance partners Paula Moulton and Gary Lyness who after just 3 years dancing become the UK’s first top class IPC Latin Wheelchair Dance Sport couple. They are the UK’s top couple and compete internationally for Team GB.Wheelchair Dance is a great, fun recreational activity. Wheelchair Dance Sport is also a recognised sport governed by the International Paralympic Committee.Wheelchair dancing improves confidence, wheelchair skills and physical and mental wellbeing.We promote the sport and its benefits nationwide as well as providing FREE Classes in ManchesterWithout funding we would not be able to keep our classes free and be able to support wheelchair dancers to achieve their goals. The PTA are a group of Parent, Grandparent and teacher volunteers who help support the school by arranging and running fund raising activities. In the past they have organised and managed such events as the Spooky discos, pumpkin competition, egg decorating competition, film night and they even help Santa bring his annual gifts to the school ! These events have help raise funds for things like the virtual panto, the silent disco, and year six outdoor cinema, Lego therapy and Lego club, the Gems reward badges to name a few

Merthyr Cynon Foodbank provides emergency food and support to local people in crisis.
