(UK, 1164040) Browse eventsAnxious Minds was started because of a lack of good quality, free support that can be accessed by anybody at short notice. Anxiety and depression suffering is a waste of life. We believe nobody should suffer alone just because you can’t afford to pay for treatment, or because you’re on somebody’s waiting list. Suffering from anxiety or depression can mean years of feeling lonely and isolated, but it doesn’t have to be that way. Modern psychology has learned a great deal about anxiety and depression in the last decade. They are both highly treatable, and can be reduced and managed successfully with the right support and treatment. Together we can beat anxiety and depression. A positive attitude and understanding that you can, and will, recover is crucial. Our program is delivered by people who have, or have had, anxiety and depression at some point in their lives, and are making a recovery or are totally cured. Anxious Minds provides free confidential support for all suffers of anxiety and depression. We also focus on prevention, and on dealing with stress by using education and research-based relaxation techniques.
