Rescue Me Animal Sanctuary is a small foster home based animal sanctuary in the Merseyside area set up in July 2013. Check out our Facebook page for animals needing homes & latest news. We primarily focus on rescuing unwanted/stray cats and rabbits, however we will aim to help any animal in need.We currently have several foster homes throughout Merseyside & hope to buy our own premises soon. For over 30 Years Radio Clyde’s Cash for Kids has been raising funds for children in local communities across Glasgow and the West. Since our first appeal we have raised over £30 million and helped more than 1.9 million of the West of Scotland’s most deprived children. In 2014 we supported 105,421 children and ensured every single penny of the £1.4 m raised in donations went straight back out to those children who need your help the most.
We raise funds for medical equipment at Basingstoke & North Hampshire Hospital that can help save lives or make treatment and recovery more certain and less painful. Thanks to the generosity and fundraising activities of our local community, we are able to support our hospital in offering the best possible treatment, diagnosis and care to the people of North Hampshire. Please support our Pinpoint Appeal – providing the latest equipment to treat cancer We have launched our Pinpoint Appeal to raise £450,000 for an advanced Radiotherapy Planning CT scanner. This technology enables radiotherapy to be delivered with pinpoint accuracy, significantly reducing side effects, minimising damage to healthy tissues and enabling cancer patients to recover sooner from their treatment. The scanner will be installed in a new Radiotherapy Unit at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital that is due to open early in 2014. This facility will make a huge difference to hundreds of cancer sufferers. It means they will no longer have to face long and debilitating journeys over a period of many weeks to receive treatment at a centre much further away. Only £46,000 to go .............. We have already raised £404,000 towards this equipment - please help us to raise the extra funds needed so we can reach our Appeal target.
