Together We Learn is the merged charity of Link Ethiopia and The Kindu Trust. Together We Learn is a merger of Link Ethiopia and The Kindu Trust, two charities that have been working to brighten the prospects of children in Ethiopia for more than 20 years. Our interventions are aimed at improving the quality of teaching and facilities within Ethiopian schools and working with communities to overcome obstacles to school attendance. We work with schools and families to make sure children can go to school and develop the skills they need to reach their full potential. We do this in three ways: 1. Access: We work with families to help provide a secure home from which the child can go to school and we work with schools to build new classrooms in areas where they are needed. 2. Quality: We work with teachers to increase the quality of lessons they can deliver by providing teacher training and building facilities at schools to provide better learning environments. 3. Wellbeing: We run out-of-school activities that improve quality of life for children and their families. We have been working with our sponsored families and partner schools for more than 20 years, our team have deep roots in the communities where we work and all our projects are informed by their feedback, so we can deliver projects that work for them long-term.

We have people entered in all three events on the day (5k, 10k and 1 mile fun run). Thanks for your support for all the runners. Cholsey Pre-school aims to provide high quality, affordable and accessible childcare for children aged three to five years, in a safe and supportive environment, and to work in partnership with parents, the Cholsey Primary School, Foundation Unit, and local authority, in the provision of childcare in Cholsey. We cater for young children in Cholsey, providing a secure and stimulating environment for them to learn through play. All parents in Cholsey and the surrounding area can register their child and so have an affordable alternative to the childcare offered by local private nurseries.  Last year Cholsey Pre-school was awarded an Outstanding rating by Ofsted and this is mainly down to the dedication and commitment of the staff. Please support them and help them raise money for Cholsey Pre-School. Many thanks from all the children at Cholsey Pre-school.

Our mission is to provide immediate support for those who have suffered a mass trauma or who have been indirectly affected by such an event. The Trauma Response Network allows people who may be suffering trauma to be quickly assessed online by a network of psychological therapists. We provide EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) which takes place online, and all our therapists are registered with the EMDR Association UK. We have a simple self-referral system on our website https://www.traumaresponsenetwork.org/ In the past year we have provide support to people affected by Covid-19, many of who have suffered bereavement or who have worked as health professionals in the NHS. We have also helped people affected by the Manchester Arena Terrorist Attack, the Plymouth Shootings and the Grenfell Tower Fire. Over the next few months we are also expecting referrals for people who have been affected by the war in the Ukraine and we are needing to raise additional funds to help us respond to everyone who is seeking support from us.
